Two Angry Moms

When Texas Agricultural Secretary Susan Coombs told the media that it will take 2 million angry moms to change the school lunch program, Amy Kalafa and Susan Rubin thought "Why not start with just two?" Armed with a movie camera, these two moms set out on a plan to visit school cafeterias to see what's on the menu and what the kids are eating. On their agenda is speaking to food service vendors, teachers, health experts, politicians and parents as well as officials from the USDA and the FDA. They hope to analyze the contents of various school lunches, compare costs and nutrition with a whole foods meal, and offer examples and workable alternatives.
